Low noise wind tunnel
Feature
Wind tunnels are devices for conducting fluid experiments in artificially generated winds. The low noise wind tunnel is designed in various ways so that fluid experiments can be performed while keeping the measurement unit in a quiet environment.
High performance | Enables low noise and low turbulence airflow performance |
Multifunctional | We have two measurement units and can handle various tests |
Energy saving type | It is energy recovery method by circulation type air course |
Space saving type | Optimal design and miniaturization of each part of the wind tunnel |

①.Blower
②.Sound absorption concrete
The inner wall of the air passage is covered with porous concrete panel. The sound waves are attenuated in the small holes and the noise is reduced.
③.Guide vane
In addition to reducing pressure loss at the corners, it also has a rectifying effect.
④.Rectification unit
It consists of a honeycomb and a plurality of rectifying nets. The speed of the wind is equalized and the degree of turbulence is also reduced.
⑤.First measurement unit
All walls, ceilings and floors are covered with wedge-shaped sound absorbing material.
⑥.Silencer
It absorbs sound while passing through the wind.
⑦.Guide vane with sound absorbing material
⑧.Second measurement unit
Experiments with large aircraft models are conducted here.
