Three-dimensional velocimeter with small propellers
Purpose
This device is an impeller-type velocimeter capable of measuring the flow direction and flow velocity. The detector consists of three wheels. The output values obtained from these impellers vary according to the flow direction and flow rate. Flow direction and flow velocity can be obtained by analyzing three output values together.
Feature
The signals from the three impellers are amplified by an amplifier, taken into a PC, and analyzed with the included software to determine the flow direction and flow velocity at the detector position.
